Provide adequate ventilation to avoid overheating and use in only fixtures rated for wattage stated on the package. To avoid risks of burns or other injury, turn power off and allow lamp to cool before replacing. Socket condition may affect lamp life. Inspect and replace socket if deterioration occurs. Do not touch quartz capsule with bare hands. If the lamp is touched, wipe clean with a soft cloth and alcohol. Switch off power allowing lamp to cool down before removing. The capsule is under pressure, operates at high temperatures, and could unexpectedly shatter, which may result in the discharge of extremely hot glass particles into the fixture and/or surrounding area, creating a risk of personal injury or fire. Reduce these risks by using in fixtures rated for wattage, within design voltage, and with any protective panels or screens before returning power. Do not use near flammable or combustible materials. UV is emitted from unlensed product; ensure the lamp or fixture has a lens if skin or eyes will come into direct contact with light.
